As an aspiring designer, I spend a lot of time trawling around on Lynda.com and watching video tutorials in the instructional section for Adobe Creative Cloud. I’ve learned a lot of specific tactical stuff searching through these sources but–as embarrassing as it is to admit this–there is a lot of basic compositional stuff that I seem to have missed.
This infographic by Sign.com–an old school sign-designer who’s set up shop online, goes through a lot key-concepts that you should master as a designer before moving on to learning some of the more complex stuff I’ve been learning about on Lynda.com.
